Beatrice Sand & Gravel mines aggregates near Fairbury, Beatrice and Alexandria, Nebraska. Concrete aggregate, road surface/construction material, and landscaping rock are the main products from our sand and gravel locations. Road surface material, construction base material, and Ag Lime come from our Seitz Quarry, located just outside of Beatrice, Nebraska. Everything mined and produced at Beatrice Sand & Gravel is non-polluting and recyclable. Plant machinery and equipment are operated to comply with all environmental standards and produce no hazardous waste. Mining sites, originally Nebraska pastures and farmland, are reclaimed to original form or transformed into recreational uses.

Beatrice Concrete Company was founded in 1944 and developed by Everett R. Jones and J.W. Lawler. In 1985 a group of Beatrice shareholders, including employee managers, purchased Beatrice Concrete Co., Inc. which included Ready Mixed and Sand & Gravel operations. Beatrice Concrete Company became a division of NEBCO, Inc. in 2015, has over 70 years of service to the surrounding communities and currently has over 80 dedicated employees.
